This is by far the most delicious homemade French dip recipe I've ever tried and I've tried a lot. I love French dips so much that I look for them on every menu when I go out to eat. This is kind of embarrassing to admit but I often stopped by Arby's to pick up a super salty lunchmeat style French dip because I loved the au jus! I know. It makes no sense whatsoever to love a sandwich made from prime rib and then like one from a fast food joint. Either way, I think you get the point that I just love them. I think it’s the love of au jus because I love prime rib with au jus too. Anyway.....this recipe is so incredibly easy that its almost too good to be true. It takes about 5 minutes to prep, 8-10 hours to cook on low, and about 15-20 minutes to get on the table. It's perfect for any weather conditions but I really love it in the wintertime because it is a pretty comforting food. It’s great for busy week nights but perfect enough for Sunday night dinner with the family. Whatever day, meal, or time you pick to make it, I'm absolutely certain it will become a staple meal in your dinner rotation! Ingredients 1 can Campbell's Beef Consommé 2 can Campbell's French Onion soup 2-3 pound chuck roast provolone cheese slices Sub rolls butter garlic salt 1-2 tsp Bragg's Liquid Aminos Instructions
